F/V Kikituk

Summer 1982.  I got a job with Morpac fisheries out of Ballard. Flew up to Bristol Bay and worked on the F/V Lady Patricia, a 140 foot tender (mud boat).  Once done, the boat went around the Aleutian Peninsula through False Pass.  There I jumped off the dock for a swim (see below). Other jobs are coming into Kodiak, and scenses from fishing around the island.  Truly one of the most memorable times of my life.  The nice photo of the Kikituk was late in the season, September.  Our skiffman had left, so I took over there, thus the shot.  Funny how most photos of fishing are in great weather — really hard to take a photo otherwise.
