I’ve already lived a few lives.  In one of them (my #2 favorite) I was a commercial fisherman, mostly in Alaska, but also Hawaii and on the Columbia River (between Washington and Oregon).

In no particular order:

F/V Aleutian Spray:  Long-lining for Tuna off the seamounts south of Oahu.

F/V Pathfinder: gillnetting red salmon, Bristol Bay

F/V Kikituk: seining for salmon around Kodiak Island. circa 1982

Heading south out of Honolulo in March on 1988 on the F/V Aleutian Spray. We were long-lining for Tuna over sea-mounts about 1000 miles south of Oahu.
